A visit from our feathery friends
Thu 21 Mar 2024We had a lovely surprise visit from our new friends Gosling Raptors aka Sarah and Stuart who brought along with them, a few of their feathered family members. These included SKYE and HAYDES who are Tropical Screech Owls, INDIE a Indian Scops Owl, DUSK a Black Barn Owl and MILO a European Eagle 🦉

Red Nose Day 2024 🔴
Fri 15 Mar 2024RED NOSE DAY. Raising awareness about those in need during the current living crisis. Focusing on issues like lack of food and homelessness. We raised £43.40 by selling Biscuits and Sweets. A huge shoutout to our chairman John, Gemma and Joanne for great Sportsmanship. A good day had by all

First vunerable adults in the country to complete Health Champions Award! 🏆
Wed 13 Mar 2024🥇🏆 Today we at Arts 4 Wellbeing are shouting from the rooftops... Our members have only gone and done it! 'It’ being … We are the 1st vulnerable adults in the COUNTRY to be awarded the RSPH Level 2 Award for Health Champions recognised by the Royal Society of Public Health.
This is for individuals who want to take on the role of helping other people to improve their health.This course was delivered by Training in Care and funded by Sunderland University through the North East Workforce Skills Consortia, which we are very thankful for. Our members and all those involved are extremely proud of this achievement. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS 🏆🥇

Our Members reached new heights!
Tue 12 Mar 2024Last Friday our Sports group enjoyed an afternoon at the indoor climbing gym at Ocean Road Community Centre. What a great afternoon they all had, everyone of our members wanted to try and no matter how far they climbed they tried and that's all that matters, the pride on their face says it all for us.
A special mention to Noreen, an inspirational lady who didn't let anything stop her from tackling this challenge. We are so proud of you.

World Book Day
Thu 07 Mar 2024Our A4W family packed up lots of kindly donated books, which were left around our borough for World Book Day. Our members visited local businesses to explain what we were doing. If you were lucky enough to find one of our books, we hope you enjoyed reading it 📚📚❤️
In the studio our members completed a collaborative art piece "A good book can set your imagination free" 🦋📚

Spotlight on Our Past
Sun 19 Nov 2023The weather didn’t stop us this morning taking a trip out to see our art work that is being exhibited in the Tyne & Wear Museum.
It was lovely for our members to see their masterpieces being exhibited as part of the “Spot light on our past exhibition”. -
