Arts4welling firmly believe that artistic and creative activity produce huge benefits to wellbeing and personal growth not only gaining new skills, friendships and opportunities but increasing confidence and a sense of achievement. Our warm and welcoming studio is a hive of creativity, from painting to sculpture using everything from old newspapers and fabric to oil paint and clay we can help you make your own creative journey. We firmly believe everyone has the potential to be creative and we offer person centered sessions to meet the needs of all participants to suit all abilities, interests and ambitions. So whatever your interest be it card making , jewellery making, print making, drawing, sculpture, textiles or painting be it for personal enjoyment or to hang in a gallery we can help in whatever your creative ambition desires.
Drama class offers an individual a look into all areas of performing arts, encourages them to explore their emotions, expand their imagination and helps them develop their own, unique voice. Through each discipline of music, dance and drama it helps incorporate feelings, emotions and challenges the individual in different ways to encourage their confidence and find joy in self-expression and communication. Drama can be that escapism through performing singing or acting, we aim to give everyone a choice to find their ability and voice through arts.
Our life skills classes are designed to enhance an individual’s personal skills, that help them make every day decisions, communicate effectively with others, develop coping skills with surrounding circumstances and mange tasks in everyday life that lead to progression and success. Everyone has the ability to achieve anything, with the right support and encouragement they will gain a sense of worth and pride in everything they do.
Singing classes at Arts 4 Wellbeing fills our building with happiness and joy, everyone loves to sing be it individually or as a group, performing in class our out in the community gives people a sense of inner joy and confidence, singing releases one’s inner musicality and expression often lifts spirits high and giving a sense of pride.
Singing is the key to releasing endorphins in our brain, feel-good hormones associated with happiness and wellbeing, singing is a way to bring people together, sing in harmony and spread joy.

Let’s move it and dance is a great way to have fun and get fit and sing along to your favourite songs. Being creative and raise spirits to whilst bringing your voice and movement together.
Sports class at Arts 4 Wellbeing is a great way to build fitness levels, confidence and a sense of physical wellbeing. We have a range of healthy competitive and challenging activities to meet everyone needs in a fun and safe environment, building friendships across the community, leading to a healthier better life.
Mindfulness and Wellbeing
Our mindfulness and wellbeing class is focused around mental health and personal wellbeing which help the mind set in everyday life. It helps individuals to become more aware of the present moment and can help us enjoy the world around us and what it has to offer. We gain an understanding of things that we can achieve to help our wellbeing, we become more aware of the present moment, we begin to experience new things that we have been taking for granted or maybe have never had the opportunity to try. We all deserve a healthy and full life.
Literacy and Numeracy
Literacy skills classes not only allow the individual to read, write, speak and listen. It’s a form of communication that’s essential to make sense of the world around us. From learning our ABC’s to writing complex sentences, it’s a structured form of self development which increases an individual’s self esteem and confidence in their own ability. By taking part in group discussion on everyday situations an individual gains the skills to not only listen to another’s point of view, but enables them to develop their own.
Numeracy is not about complex skills like algebra, its the ability to understand and use maths in daily life. From telling the time to learning simple number patterns, addition, subtraction, multiply and divide, our classes help replace an individual’s fear of numbers with confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
'Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. ' The class is taught by an external teacher, every week is different with the potions and experiments looking into all aspects of real life. Teaching can be made fun, this is specifically shown in this class.
Accredited Academic Courses
Accredited courses not only gain members certified results, they offer life experience and skills. Nutrition in health, Safeguarding, volunteering and Stress are just some of the subjects our members study in. These are subjects which will help inside and outside life of Arts 4 Wellbeing. It’s a structured form of self development which increases an individual’s self esteem and confidence in their own ability, they may then feel like they can go on to volunteer etc.
