  What a glorious day for our first annual trip. Beamish didn’t disappoint, lovely to see the 50’s town nearly complete, we sampled the fish and chips from the new chippy, lunch at the bandstand, took over the bus and trams with all our A4W family. A lovely day had by all 😀

  

• Pride Month 2024

  We had a colourful day to celebrate pride month. Our members enjoyed dressing up in bright colours, dancing and singing. Then completing a quiz in the afternoon 🌈🩷

  

• Launch of Learning Disability Week 2024

  What a lovely official launch to Learning Disability Week, it was lovely to see all the organisations coming together. We had a fantastic morning at the Word celebrating creativity with art workshops and working alongside other services in the local area. 
   

  Our collaborative bunting project wrapped nearly around the whole of the building. The bunting brief was to use your creativity to showcase what learning disability week means to you. 
   

  We also have our "Do you see me" exhibition at Cleadon Park Library. The theme promoted many self portraits and found inspiration from Pablo Picasso and Julian Opie, as well as a large textile created by every member of Arts 4 Wellbeing. 

  

• June Disco

  It’s nearly the end of the month, so get your dancing shoes ready for a fun, friendly evening with friends new and old. 💃🏽🕺🏼💃🏽🕺🏼. Please come and join us at our monthly disco it’s a great way to meet friends. 

  Staff are all fully enhanced DBS checked and fully trained in first aid and mental health first aid.
