Mon 17 Jun 2024What a lovely official launch to Learning Disability Week, it was lovely to see all the organisations coming together. We had a fantastic morning at the Word celebrating creativity with art workshops and working alongside other services in the local area.
Our collaborative bunting project wrapped nearly around the whole of the building. The bunting brief was to use your creativity to showcase what learning disability week means to you.
We also have our "Do you see me" exhibition at Cleadon Park Library. The theme promoted many self portraits and found inspiration from Pablo Picasso and Julian Opie, as well as a large textile created by every member of Arts 4 Wellbeing.
